Seller Terms
Effective date: [effective date] · Operator: [Company name] · Questions: [contact email]
1. About these terms
These terms apply to people and businesses that open a store on the platform operated by [Company name]. By creating an account you confirm that you have read and accept them, together with the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. The platform is a technology provider
We provide the tools for your storefront, products, preorders and communication with customers. You are the seller. The sales agreement is between you and your customer. We do not prepare, inspect, store or deliver your food and we do not collect your customers' payments.
3. Food laws and licences
You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the laws and rules that apply to your food activity where you operate. This includes any registration, permit or licence, food safety and hygiene rules, labelling, limits on what can be sold from a home kitchen, and tax. We do not check this for you.
4. Accurate product information and allergens
You must describe your products truthfully, including ingredients, allergens and dietary tags, and keep that information up to date. Do not mark a product as free of an allergen unless you can be sure. Answer customers' allergy questions honestly.
5. Orders
Honour the orders you confirm, at the price and pickup time agreed. If you cannot, tell the customer as soon as possible and cancel the order in the app. Keep your pickup windows, capacity and availability realistic.
6. Prohibited items and conduct
You may not sell:
- anything illegal, or food you are not allowed to sell;
- alcohol, tobacco, drugs or other regulated products unless you hold the required authorisation and the platform allows it;
- unsafe, spoiled or misdescribed food;
- items that infringe someone else's rights.
7. Customer data
Use your customers' and followers' data only to fulfil their orders and to send the updates they asked for. Do not sell it, share it with third parties for their own use, or message people who have not opted in.
8. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or close a store that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts customers at risk. You may close your store at any time.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for your food, your sales, or claims from your customers, and you agree to handle those yourself. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the current version. Questions: [contact email].
